Carb Heat Riser
Turn the counterweight over and this is what you see. The arrow points to a small bell shaped piece of metal that keeps the counterweight from slipping on the shaft. The dark cloth like material in the center is the stop which rests against the stud on the manifold.
A small, loose fitting ring (arrow) acts as a spacer. Directly to the right is the stud which acts as a stop for the counterweight.
Spring correctly wrapped with the end secured behind the stop.
Counterweight pushed forward against the pressure of the spring. As the spring heats up the tension becomes less and less.
